A pot still is perfect for crafting spirits with rich, complex flavors, because it tends to preserve more of the ingredients' character than reflux or column-style stills.

Pot stills are ideal for traditional spirits like rum, bourbon, single malt, fruit brandy, and other expressive spirits where flavor is the point.

Pot stills are also an excellent choice for newer distillers. Their simpler operation and slower transitions between heads, hearts, and tails make them easier to control while you learn the craft.

This still is designed to be a reliable workhorse pot still. Its modular construction, assembled with tri-clamps and ferrules, also makes it easier to upgrade in the future if you want to explore reflux distillation.

This still does not include an electric heating system, but it has a 3/4 inch ferrule port ready for your own DIY element. It is also suitable for gas heating.

Please note: If you want to make vodka or gin, you may want to consider the reflux still. If you want one setup that can make a wider range of spirits, the all-rounder may be the better fit.
